Portfolio manager's daily report

Mr. Sturm made a Tiramisu for the class, we're going to quit 30 minutes earlier to enjoy it. The groups are working intensely, the realisation is finished today. No serious problems came up.

The meeting was kept short, we discussed the flow of our presentations. Afterwards I strayed around, helped and explained concerning presentation and programming. Moveover I prepared myself for my presentation, planned what graphics and texts I will need.

No critical moments, just working.

Portfolio manager's daily report

I printed out the project contract again with the correct dates - change request included. Meeting was kept short, no crucial matters came up. The groups are busy programming and coffee's washy.

Moreover the controllers are working on their reports, I'm advising and Martin K. and Denise are supporting me. A problem with the calculation of the overall voting results came up - I conferenced with both voting groups to cope with it; Christoph is able to take over the part of announcing the complete results.

The working climate is getting better, it's calmer and more concentrated in here. I'm spreading joy and "Mignon Schnitten". Okay, at least the latter.. ;)

Portfolio manager's daily report

I informed myself about connecting to the Joomla! database and wrote an article here. In the meeting I checked the team's states again and published this blog.

Afterwards I collected all the milestone lists to create a complete PSP. Philipp's project team had problems with the SVN, as the repository didn't list their uploaded documents. I got them now and I'm struggling to tell MS Project that milestones aren't just planned but also achieved. Some in time, some earlier than the planned date and some later.

I've also talked to the project controllers, especially Denise and Martin, to make sure the project managers and myself get the infos we need in a status report next time. (11.12.2007)

Remember: project controllers have to be able to give their project managers detailed status reports. In 2 weeks, on 11.12.2007, all project controllers have to give their project managers and the portfolio manager a detailed status report.

Development database connection details

Alright, I've got all the connection details from Alex. You can access the database via phpmyadmin (www4.htl.rennweg.at/veith/phpmyadmin).
  • Username: veith
  • Password: *********

If you want to use the database in your php-files, write the following code into your file:

global $database;

$database->setQuery("SELECT * FROM mos_joe_dailymessage_conf LIMIT 1");

http://www.jlleblanc.com/blogcategory/0/ There you can find a Joomla! 1.5 tutorial. This line of code, for instance, is from The Daily Message Joomla Component Tutorial. Just have a look at the link list at the bottom.
